What an easy week!

Week two:

casa (ka-sah) - house

       Aqui esta su casa.   Here is your house.

habitación (ha-bee-tah-see-own) - room - bedroom

       Aquí esta su habitación.  Here is your bedroom. (Note: aquí (ah-key) = here).

baño (ban-yo) - bathroom

          Donde esta el baño?  Where is the bathroom?  (Note: donde (done-day) = where).

comida (co-me-dah) - Meal

        La comida esta buena!  The meal is good!

vaso (va-sew) - glass

          Hay una mosca en mi vaso!  There is a fly in my glass!

agua buena (ah-gu-wah  bu- way-nah)  - purified water

Hay agua buena?  Is there purified water?

café (ka-fay) - coffee

Quiere café?  Do you want coffee?

tasa (tah-sa) - cup

       Una taza blanca!  A white cup!

botella (bow-tay-ja)  - bottle

          Dame una botella de agua.  Give me a bottle of water.

cuchara (coo-char-ah) - spoon

      Dame una cuchara, por favor.  Give me a spoon, please. 

cuchillo (coo-chee-yo) - knife

        Da me un cuchillo, por favor.  Give me a knife, please.

servilleta (ser-vee-yet-ah) - napkin

Da me una servilleta, por favor.  Give me a napkin, please.

tenedor (ten-ah-dor) - fork

Hay un tenedor, por favor?  Is there a fork, please?

vela (vee-la) - candle

   Hay una vela por el noche?   Is there a candle for the night?

hermana  (hair-man-ah) - sister

          Ella esta la hermana de Helena.  She is the sister of Helen.

hermano   (hair-man-oh) - brother

          El esta el hermano de Helena.  He is the brother of Helen.

dónde  (done-day) - where

      Donce esta mi casa.  Where is my house.

más (mah-s) - more

     Quiere más?  Want more?

menos (may-nos) - less

     Menos, por favor.   Less, please.  

cuando  (kwan-doh) - when

     Cuando esta la reunion?  When is the meeting?  

bien  (bee-yen) - well - good

     Yo estoy bien.  I am well.  

primo (pre-mo) - cousin (male)

     Mi primo tiene muchos años.  My cousin has many years. (año (on-yo) = year)  

prima (pre-mah) - cousin (female)

     Mi prima no tiene muchos años.  My cousin does not have many years.

hijo (ee-hoe) - son

     Mi hijo tiene muchos  años.   My son has many years.

hija (ee-ha) - daughter

     Mi hija no tiene muchos  años.  My daughter does not have many years.

Week three:

toalla (twi-jah) - towel

          Hay toallas en el bano.  There are towels in the bathroom.

jabón (ha-bone) - soap

          Yo necesito jabón, por favor. I need soap, please.

cerveza (sair-veh-sah) - beer

        La cerveza esta buena!  The beer is good.

cena (say-nah) - supper

      La cena esta buena!  The supper is good.

desayuno (des-eye-uno) - breakfast

        Puede comer tocino para desayuno!  She can eat toast for breakfast!

llave (ja-vay) - faucet - key

          Ryan tiene un llave en su bano.  Ryan has a faucet in his bathroom.

corazón (core-ah-zone) - Heart

       Con todo me corazón!  With all my heart!

amor (ah-more) - Love

      Mi amor!  My love!

sala  (sa-la) -living room

         La lámpara esta en la sala.  The lamp is in the living room.

abanico (ah-ba-nee-ko) -fan

         Hay un abanico en el techo de la sala!  There is a fan in the living room.

papel (pa-pal) - - paper (also TP)

          Necisita papel?  Do you need TP?

muerte (mu-air-tay) - death

          El esta casi muerte.

cabeza (ka-bay-za) - head

        El pelo esta en la cabeza.  The hair is on the head.

ojo  (oh-ho) - eye  

         Helena tiene dos ojos.  Helen has two eyes.

nariz - (nari-eez) - nose

         Ella puede oler los flores con su nariz!  She can smell the flowers with her nose.

boca (boe-ka) - mouth

        Isabelle tiene una galleta en su boca.  Isabelle has a cracker in her mouth.

brazo - (bra-zo) - arm

         Necesita brazos fuerte.  He needs strong arms.

batata (ba-ta-ta)  - sweet potato

          La batata esta  dulce.  The potatoe is sweet.

papa (pa-pa) - potato -  (father)

          Su papa esta un papa cabeza!  Your father is a potato head!

berenjena (bear-en-hain-ah) - eggplant

        Le gusta comer berenjena?  Do you like to eat eggplant?

mojado (moe-ha-doe) - wet

         Mi huerta esta mojado!  My garden is wet!

seco (say-ko) - dry

        Cuando no hay lluvia hay seco.  When there is no rain it is dry.

falda (fall-dah) - skirt

          Yo necisito una falda rojo.  I need a red skirt.

blusa (blue-sah) - blouse

          La blusa esta negro.  The blouse is black.

sobre  (sew-bray) - above

          La pintura esta en el muro!  The picture on the wall.

claro (klar-oh)  - clear

          La ventana esta claro.  The window is clear.

abajo (ah-baa-hoe) - down

         Por favor mova la pintura abajo!  Plee move the picture down. 

  cerrar (cerr-are) - to close

         Tiempo para cerrar la puerta!  Time to close the door.
