Los Toros is a vibrant community, yes the mountains and fields are beautiful, the river brings water and the trees give shade; but it is the people that make it such a wonderful place to work and visit. In reality our programs in Los Toros are owned and operated by the people who live there. They lead the effort and cooperate and collaborate with us to accomplish the work. And because they have ownership of the projects they work carefully to serve the entire village and all the people who live there. This includes the blind, the deaf, people with disabilities and also the Haitians who are in Los Toros.

We can say our projects are effective and successful because the people of Los Toros work hard and hold themselves accountable to us and to the people they serve in their village. Yes, there are challenges and difficulties, but with a combined effort we are making progress and for this - Los Toros is a better place; and for this we and the people of Los Toros are better persons!

Los Toros es una comunidad vibrante, sí las montañas y campos son bonitos, el río trae el agua y los árboles dan sombra; pero es las personas que le hacen un lugar maravilloso para trabajar y visitar. En realidad nuestros programas en Los Toros y son operados por las personas que viven allí. Ellos llevan el esfuerzo y cooperan y colabora con nosotros lograr el trabajo. Y porque ellos tienen responsabilidad de los proyectos ellos trabajan para servir al pueblo entero y todas las personas que viven allá. Esto incluye los ciegos, los sordos, las personas con invalideces y también los haitianos que están en Los Toros.

Nosotros podemos decir que nuestros proyectos son eficaces y exitosos porque las personas de Los Toros trabajan duro y se sostienen responsable a nosotros y a las personas ellos sirven en su pueblo. Sí, hay desafíos y dificultades, pero con un esfuerzo juntos, nosotros estamos haciendo progreso y para esto - Los Toros es un lugar mejor; ¡y para esto nosotros y las personas de Los Toros son personas mejores!
