HOW
TO MAKE A CONTRIBUTION
There
are a number of ways to support the Los Toros Mission:

Make
a monetary donation.

Donate
materials to be used at the mission.

Work
as a committee member and participate in planning, budgeting, etc.

Work
in the Mission on one of the mission trips (Spanish is needed).
-
Go
on a working Mission Retreat Experience (no Spanish needed) (information coming).
A
note about monetary contributions: one hundred percent of your
contribution goes directly to Los Toros! All operating expenses and
transportation expenses are covered by volunteers.

Ways To Contribute:
Through
our affiliate - the Los Toros Foundation - we are able to accept donations
of securities into a Fidelity Investments account.
Our
attorney, a board member of LTF can help you include Los Toros Mission in
your will.
We
have already accepted a number of memorials - an excellent way to remember
a loved one.
A
memorial gift for a special occasion - confirmation - graduation -
etc. is a unique way to express your love for someone. $25.00 will buy a
family a water filter that will give them pure water to drink for five
years!
If
you are over 70 1/2 you can make a direct transfer donation from your IRA
and not only avoid taxes but also deduct the contribution.

Committee:
The Los
Toros Mission Committee meets each month at St. Joseph Church, Grafton,
WI. The meetings are open, all are welcome. Committee members can work on
sub-committees and help to manage projects in Los Toros. Decisions are
consensus based and in consultation with the people in Los Toros; your
very presence at a meeting is a contribution toward the efforts made in Los Toros!
Mission
Expereince:
The Los
Toros Mission Committee is sponsoring a working Mission Experience
in English during October - 2010. This will gave an opportunity for
non-Spanish speakers to experience working in a mission in the third world
while gaining some spiritual perspectives of Peace and Justice. Please
express your interest and help us build this event into a reality. Contact

The
