Important: Because of Baggage
limitations we cannot take items that are not a priority for the Haitians;
we also do not want to use our
l
space taking clothes or items
that are worn, or not “New” or “Like New”.
All Personal Care and Hygiene
materials should be “New”!
All clothing should be either “New” or “Like New”!
Clothing should be lightweight
and suitable for a Hot Climate.
Bedding materials should be
“New” or “Like New”.
*Of the Haitian population in
Los Toros approximately 75% are male and 25% are female, only a few
children. So we need mostly men's items.
Muchas
Gracias - for your understanding ( “New” or “Like New”!
). It is very
difficult to transport items to Los Toros because of Airline limitations
and arranging ground transportation in the DR. Our goal is to work as
effectively as possible and use our resources, both material and human, in
the best manner possible.
