Costura
- Sewing
Below
is a letter we received from the Costura - Sewing Committee of Los Toros.
They are thanking all of you who helped with sewing materials and
requesting that we help them to find room for their courses; right now
they are in very tight quarters! Here is their letter:
To:
Sr.
Donald F. Kabara
Antes
Atentamente,

Campaign
In
2007 the Foundation received a grant dedicated to constructing a visitors
house in Los Toros - in Spanish they call it a Pension. Construction plans
have been completed and land has been acquired and we are ready to start
building. Dee and Al Schlecht are leading a fund drive to raise $5,000.00
to complete the funding for this project. Below is information about the
Pension. If you would like to contribute you can send your contribution

Los
Toros Liceo
We have received word -
from two sources - that work has begun on the construction of the Liceo
for Los Toros. At this point we are unsure of exactly what progress has
been made however it appears that the dream of having their very own Liceo
may be realized by the people of Los Toros. We await photos and further
information - as soon as we have more news we will post it right here!!
Meanwhile we are keeping
our fingers crossed and we hope to see ongoing construction during our
October visit!
