TOROs Beca Program
The
Los Toros Mission Beca Program sends both young adults and adults to a
university to study. We believe this is one of the most effective ways to help
people in the Third World. Our support goes beyond monetary support and lends
encouragement and consul to students to help them achieve their education and
professional goals.

The
Los Toros Mission works very closely with the Los Toros Foundation. The
foundation is now a permanent legal entity in both the USA and the Dominican
Republic. Contributions are tax deductible as it is recognized by both
governments as a non-charitable organization. Documents are posted on the Los
Toros Foundation web page; as required by law access to our annual report is
public and may be obtained on the web page.

a Contribution
For
$250.00 you can give a family a cement floor - that means greatly improved
conditions for health and cleanliness. For $50.00 you can keep the pre-school going
for a month. Scholarship students need laptops if you have a good used laptop it
could help a young man or woman with his/her college work.
$30.00
will give a family a Water Filter that could furnish them with pure drinking
water for over four years. $25.00 will get a sick person to the capital and
access to medical treatment. $200.00 will buy a bed for a Haitian earthquake
refugee family living in Los Toros.
100%
of your contribution will go directly to the poor; all work is done by
volunteers who pay their own way to work at the mission and village people
lead and work on projects without cost.
